We act as a catalyst of change through the investment of strategic and operating expertise, including a strong focus on Buyouts, and further opportunities to build scale through bolt-on acquisitions.
Archimedes Arbitrage Partners looks to invest in established cash generative companies in South Africa and sub-Saharan Africa where we can support growth initiatives and businesses in transition. We target businesses with an Embedded Value of R1 000 000 to R250 000 000, where will be the first or second investor.
Archimedes Arbitrage Partners has a partnership approach to investing alongside management team, taking an active role in our businesse’s beyond that of a traditional “High Street” Private Equity firm. This includes working to develop a clear strategy for each business, ensuring the right management team and Board is in place, professionalizing reporting and processes, seeking and evaluating Merger and Acquisition opportunities and where appropriate, providing further capital to support company strategy.
We are a low-volume investor, seeking a limited number of investments per year. This ensures that we can invest a ,material amount of time and resource to each company.
